Meet The Team

The Cisco AI Software & Platform Group incubates and delivers Generative AI based solutions to improve Cisco's existing Products. Our Group is also introducing new offerings that help customers roll out Generative AI at scale while doing so responsibly.

Your Impact

You will be the product lead driving innovative Generative AI applications across Cisco’s core networking and security platforms. You’ll define use cases, validate customer value, and work closely with our world-class ML research and engineering teams to build and ship high-quality capabilities that significantly move the needle. You will need to be both visionary and hands-on, balancing rapid prototyping and real-world deployments. You will own the entire product lifecycle – from definition and planning through production, release, and upgrades.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and validate high-impact GenAI use cases across Cisco’s networking and security products (Campus, Branch, Identity/ISE, etc.).
  • Translate ambiguous customer needs into clear product requirements and prototypes.
  • Work closely with applied ML engineers and architects to guide LLM integration into enterprise-scale products.
  • Build lean, testable roadmaps with measurable milestones; iterate fast based on feedback.
  • Drive customer discovery and proof-of-concepts with early adopters; turn learnings into scalable features.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, sales, customer success) to deliver GA-ready solutions.
  • Stay on top of GenAI ecosystem trends (LLMs, retrieval, safety, evals, fine-tuning, etc.) and assess build vs. partner trade-offs.
  • Evangelize internally and externally – represent the product vision with customers, execs, and field teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s + 8 years, Master’s + 6 years, or PhD + 3 years of experience.
  • Proven track record as a Product Manager (or equivalent role) delivering enterprise SaaS or platform products.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI APIs, or ML-driven products.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, campus/branch connectivity, identity/authentication, network security).
  • Strong technical fluency; able to engage with engineers on architecture, APIs, data pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work startup-style: rapid iteration, minimal resources, bias for execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Cisco networking, security, or assurance services.
  • Experience bringing AI-powered features from prototype to GA in enterprise environments.
  • Comfort with customer-facing roles: discovery calls, roadmap discussions, design partnerships.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create structure where none exists.
  • Prior experience in early-stage teams, startups, or incubation groups.

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
