WoodChuck transforms wood waste into valuable products and renewable energy feedstocks. We’re seeking a hands-on Operations Superintendent to lead daily field operations at our Haskell, TX site.

This role oversees production, equipment, crews, and safety while working alongside the team as needed.

Company-provided housing is available for employees assigned to the Haskell project.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily wood waste processing and material handling operations.
• Supervise equipment operators, labor crews, and contractors.
• Coordinate grinding, screening, loading, and site logistics.
• Drive production goals while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct daily planning meetings and assign work priorities.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance.
• Maintain production and inventory records.
• Partner with biochar operations to meet feedstock needs.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading field operations in wood waste, forestry, biomass, recycling, construction, aggregate, waste management, or similar industries.
• Previous experience as a superintendent, foreman, supervisor, lead operator, or comparable leadership role.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and production-driven environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Preferred:

• Experience with grinders, screens, loaders, excavators, or conveyors.
• CDL (preferred but not required).
• Experience managing contractors or startup operations.
