Cara builds AI-powered tools, like HomeScanCare, to help older adults age safely at home by providing families with personalized home safety insights to reduce fall risks. We combine AI, computer vision, healthcare, and thoughtful UX to support caregivers. 

The Role 

This is a highly motivated, hands-on Summer Growth Marketing & SEO Intern role. You will work directly with the founders, take real ownership of initiatives, and be expected to experiment quickly to discover scalable growth channels for the direct-to-consumer HomeScan. The role focuses on growth marketing, SEO, social distribution, funnel optimization, ux, and analytics. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Paid/Social Growth: Launch and optimize Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns, test creative/messaging, and explore community-driven growth tactics. 

• SEO & Content: Conduct keyword research, create content strategies to drive organic traffic, and improve organic search visibility for HomeScanCare. 

• Funnel Optimization: Set up and analyze conversion tracking (using tools like GA4 or PostHog), analyze onboarding dropoff, and recommend/test improvements to conversion rates. 

• UX & Product Feedback: Conduct lightweight user research and usability testing to improve onboarding flows and caregiver trust. 

What We're Looking For 

Required: Strong interest in startups, growth, SEO, or digital marketing; excellent communication and writing skills; ability to work independently and learn quickly; analytical mindset; and excitement for mission-driven products in healthcare/caregiving. Bonus Points: Experience with Meta Ads, SEO/content marketing, analytics tools (GA4, PostHog), influencer outreach, or UX/product design. 

What Success Looks Like 

By the end of the summer, you should have increased completed assessments and conversion rates on HomeScanCare, launched and optimized paid social campaigns, and helped grow organic traffic and influencer/community partnerships. 

You will own meaningful growth initiatives, working directly with the founders at the intersection of AI, healthcare, growth marketing, consumer products, SEO, and startup execution. 

Compensation 

$25/hour, full-time summer internship, plus a performance bonus tied to measurable growth outcomes. Flexible hybrid/remote setup.
