Enterprise Implementation Lead
About the role
About Us:
Camber builds software to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare. We streamline and replace manual work so clinicians can focus on what they do best: providing great care. For more details on our thesis, check out our write-up: What is Camber?
We’ve raised $50M in funding from phenomenal supporters at a16z, Craft Ventures, YCombinator, Manresa, and many others who are committed to improving the accessibility of care. For more information, take a look at: Announcing Camber
About our Culture:
Our mission to change behavioral health starts with us and how we operate. We don’t want to just change behavioral health, we want to change the way startups operate. Here are a few tactical examples:
- Improving accessibility and quality of healthcare is something we live and breathe. Everyone on Camber’s team cares deeply about helping clinicians and patients.
- We have to have a sense of humor. Healthcare is so broken, it's depressing if you don't laugh with us.
About the role:
As our first true Enterprise Implementation Lead, you’ll be defining benchmarks of success, building alignment across both our internal and external stakeholders, and executing on the most critical time period for our largest, most complex accounts. This role is central to Camber’s success and that of our customers, as it sets first impressions, defines success, ensures systems are configured correctly, and ensures early benchmarks are hit. You’ll manage workstreams cross-functionally across Sales, Customer Success, Insurance Operations, and Engineering to deliver a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience for our largest customers.
What you'll do:
- Lead the Charge: Coordinate across enterprise stakeholders, Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering to define success, adapt to constant change, and execute.
- Strategic Discovery: Conduct deep-dive sessions to understand complex revenue cycle challenges and clinic pain points, translating these into tailored onboarding plans.
- Build the Playbook: Constantly experiment with and refine our enterprise onboarding tools and documentation to move us from 0-to-1 on new service offerings.
- Manage high complexity: Orchestrate multiple concurrent implementation timelines, ensuring all technical and operational milestones are done on time and well.
- Drive Data Insights: Utilize data to track onboarding health, identify risks or blockers, and present progress reports to both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
- Experience: 3–7 years of professional experience. We are looking for a background in startup operations, consulting, project management, business operations, or account management.
- Founder Mindset: You are able to handle high levels of ambiguity and thrive in "0-to-1" situations. Being a former founder or an early-stage startup operator is a plus.
- Analytical Chops: Proficiency in data analytics and Excel is a plus; you should be comfortable using data to tell a story or solve a problem.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate conversations with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Ownership Mentality: High throughput and velocity without being overwhelmed. You don’t wait for a manual; you build the manual.
- Hunger: While we value experience, drive is more important - this role is an opportunity to punch above your weight.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in Enterprise Implementation, Account Management, or Sales is a bonus but not required.
- Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle operations, EHR integrations, or behavioral health
- Experience with analytics tools like Metabase, Looker, or Tableau.
Perks & Benefits at Camber:
- Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision plans with nationwide coverage, including 24/7 virtual urgent care.
- Mental Health Support: Weekly therapy reimbursement up to $100, so you can prioritize the care that works best for you.
- Paid Parental Leave: Up to 12 weeks of fully paid time off for new parents (birth, adoption, or foster care).
- Financial Wellness: 401K (traditional & Roth), HSA & FSA options, and monthly commuter benefits for NYC employees.
- Time Off That Counts: We offer flexible PTO, meaning you’re trusted to take the time you need to recharge while balancing your responsibilities and team commitments.
- Fitness Stipend: $100/month to use on fitness however you choose.
- Hybrid Flexibility: In NYC? We work in the office 3–5x/week, with flexibility when life happens. Fridays are remote-friendly.
Camber is based in New York City, and we prioritize in-person and hybrid candidates. Please refer to the top of this page for this position's hiring location.
Building an inclusive culture is one of our core tenets as a company. We’re very aware of structural inequalities that exist, and recognize that underrepresented minorities are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t think they meet all of the requirements. If that’s you and you’re reading this, we’d like to encourage you to apply regardless — we’d love to get to know you and see if there’s a place for you here!
In addition, we take security seriously, and all of our employees contribute to uphold security requirements and maintain compliance with HIPAA security regulations.

We’re deeply rooted in the intersection of healthcare and technology — the founders were previously healthcare consultants (at McKinsey) and all have technical backgrounds.
The engineering team brings a breadth of experience (AWS, Bloomberg, Palantir, Headway). Our head of engineering previously led a team of 10 at AWS and is invested in building a first-class team of engineers with a focus on developing a diverse, inclusive, and supportive culture.

We started Camber because we care about impact — the lack of supply for behavioral healthcare means those who need it most cannot access it. We see this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to fix a broken industry, and why we want you on this journey with us.
