VP of Sales (Builder)

Boston, MA, USA
USD 220k-220k / year + Equity
Posted on Mar 1, 2026

We’re hiring a VP of Sales for Sensor Bio and this is a builder’s seat.

Sensor Bio is building a clinical platform for human biometrics: continuous, research-grade sensing and raw biological data by default engineered for scale and trust. Our mission is simple: make health inevitable.

We have traction, pipeline, and momentum, and we’re ready to turn that into a repeatable revenue engine.

This role is not for someone who needs a playbook handed to them.

It’s for someone who understands how to assess a current playbook, knows when to write a new one, tests it in the wild, and drives results fast.

Location: Austin, Dallas, Boston (virtual team; monthly in-person cadence).

Comp:

  • $220K base
  • $220K variable (50/50)
  • $440K OTE
  • Healthy Equity Position

Who this is for

You’ve been in the driver’s seat (or close to it) as a company scaled from roughly $5M → $25M. You can handle ambiguity, make decisions without perfect data, and you know how to build a process that accelerates sales, not slows it down.

What you’ll own

  • Revenue strategy + execution (you build the plan and you run it)
  • ICP focus: short-cycle wins and longer enterprise/research cycles in parallel
  • Sales operating system: pipeline discipline, forecasting, deal cadence
  • Team build: hire and scale quota-carrying AEs
  • Selling into global accounts across time zones

What “great” looks like

  • Speed over polish: you test, learn, and iterate quickly
  • Low ego, high output: you care about winning, not being right
  • Decisive leadership: you make calls, own outcomes, and keep momentum
  • Builder DNA: you create structure only when it increases velocity
