Role
- Process Design & Optimization: Develop and refine processes for grinders, dicing saw machines
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and troubleshoot grinding to maintain efficiency and precision
- Quality Control: Monitor and adjust grinding parameters to meet engineering specifications and reduce defects
- Tooling & Fixture Management: Select, prepare, and maintain grinding tools and fixtures to ensure repeatability and accuracy
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues such as tool wear, dimensional variation, or machine downtime
- Documentation & Compliance: Follow safety protocols; maintain records of process changes and quality results
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in metrology, and machine tool operation.
- Demonstrate strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Attention to Detail: Critical for meeting tight tolerances in precision grinding.
- Mathematical Skills: For calculating grinding parameters and tolerances.
- Proficient in Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in backend process in Wafer Fab / Equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for result
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Regarded as the technical expert in Unit Process and Wafer Fab operations
