We are looking for an experienced, collaborative Workplace Specialist to join our team. As our Workplace Specialist in our Durham office, you will help foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that supports employee connection, productivity, and well-being.
You will implement and enhance workplace policies, procedures, and programs that ensure a supportive, and high-quality employee experience. You will partner to promote collaboration, teamwork across the organization, while serving as a trusted resource for workplace guidance and best practices.
You will also help execute workplace projects and events that strengthen community and engagement within the office. Reporting to the Director, Workplace Americas and Europe, you will be an important member of the broader Workplace Team, contributing to a cohesive and people-centered workplace strategy. This is an onsite position in our Durham office.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

Foster Workplace Culture

Ensure workplace policies and procedures are communicated, applied, and up to date
Support compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Be a go-to resource for employees regarding workplace guidelines and best practices

Operational Excellence
Oversee daily workplace operations to guarantee a smooth, safe, and efficient environment
Identify opportunities to improve processes, refine workflows, and enhance employee experience
Coordinate with vendors and our teams to maintain facilities and services

Facilitate collaboration by creating spaces and opportunities for teams to connect
Build relationships across departments to support our needs and workplace projects

Design and support programs that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity
Gather feedback and insights to improve workplace experience
Support onboarding experiences to ensure new hires feel welcomed and connected

Plan and implement workplace events, including team-building activities, celebrations, and company-wide gatherings
Manage event logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships
Create opportunities for social connection and community within the workplace

Maintain regarding workplace updates, events, and projects
Provide responsive support to employee needs, addressing issues with a service-oriented approach
Guide communication between employees, leadership, and external partners
What You'll Need to be Successful
3+ years of experience in employee engagement, workplace experience, or related roles
2+ years of experience in office operations, workplace coordination, or facilities support
Knowledge of workplace policies, procedures, and best practices, with the ability to apply them thoughtfully
Collaborate across teams and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment
Experience supporting or coordinating workplace programs, or events that promote employee engagement and community
You have a focus on delivering responsive, thoughtful, and people-centered support
Ability to implement practical solutions
Able to analyze feedback and identify opportunities to enhance workplace experience and operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
