What You’ll Do

As an Avalara Software Product Solution Consultant specializing in the cross-border market, you will help increase growth in this specialized domain of trade compliance. Applying your expertise in software sales and cross-border compliance challenges, you will identify, nurture, and close business opportunities with prospective clients operating in a global marketplace. You will report to the Director, Cross Border Sales and can work remote.

  • You will stay at the forefront of industry trends and regulatory updates, ensuring that you are always a knowledgeable resource.
  • You will make a tangible impact, both on the success of the company and the satisfaction of our clients.
  • You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals who share your experience with software sales and cross-border compliance.

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful software solutions selling experience, with experience meeting sales quotas.
  • Experience with the cross-border market and related compliance challenges (including HS Codes, Duty Calculation, Restrictions)
  • Knowledgeable in the ecommerce, logistics, and trade compliance industries, with an ability to navigate industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Will increase performance and growth.
  • Familiarity with Avalara's products and a commitment to embodying Avalara's success traits
