Job Description

What You’ll Do

We are looking for Senior Revenue Marketing Manager to lead demand generation marketing for Spain as the primary market, while supporting Italy. You will own end-to-end regional marketing, including localisation, website strategy, PR, and go-to-market execution, while driving both new customer acquisition and customer expansion.

You will have local market understanding of Spain. You will be fluent in Spanish and Italian. You will have experience in marketing tax, compliance, finance, or regulated SaaS solutions.

You will report to the Senior Director of International Marketing and work remotely.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • You will oversee the demand generation strategy for Spain, with supporting programs for Italy.

  • Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns (digital, ABM, webinars, events, partners) that generate qualified pipeline.

  • You will work with regional sales teams to support territory and account plans.

  • You will drive awareness and demand for Avalara's tax and compliance solutions in Southern Europe.

  • Manage the localisation strategy for Spain and Italy across campaigns, website, and customer communications.

  • You will ensure messaging reflects local tax terminology, compliance frameworks, and buyer expectations.

  • Lead regional PR and communications efforts, especially for the Spanish market.

  • Manage local PR agencies and build relationships with Spanish and Italian media, analysts, and industry bodies.

  • Support thought leadership around tax compliance, regulatory change, and digital transformation.

  • Strengthen Avalara's credibility and brand presence across Southern Europe.

  • Build regionally relevant customer stories that support sales and partner motions.

  • Track performance using Salesforce (SFDC) and marketing automation platforms.

  • Report on pipeline contribution, campaign performance, and regional insights.


What You'll Need to be Successful

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, in SaaS, FinTech, tax, compliance, or regulated industries.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English. Fluency in Italian would be beneficial.

  • Eexperience managing regional marketing end-to-end, including localisation, website, and PR.

  • Solid experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms, including Salesforce (SFDC) and tools such as Marketo, Adobe (Experience Cloud or related tools), and similar platforms.

  • Data anlysis and reporting skills, with experience using Power BI (PBI) or equivalent tools to track performance, pipeline impact, and ROI.

  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and regional leadership teams.

  • Comfortable operating in regulatory environments and translating complex topics into compelling marketing messages.

  • Experience in demand generation, ABM, customer lifecycle marketing, and partner marketing.
