What You'll Do

Avalara's Digital Experience team is looking for a Localization Digital Manager/Strategist to support the strategy, and performance of international and localized versions of Avalara.com

You'll help ensure that we deliver global site experiences, makes them remain relevant to regional audiences, and makes them perform against important engagement and conversion metrics. You'll work with global and international partners to govern localization workflows, prioritize content, and support the rollout of country and language variants of Avalara.com

You will sit within Avalara's Digital Experience Strategy organization and collaborate with Marketing, Product Marketing, UX/Design, SEO, Analytics, and International Marketing teams. It's a opportunity for a mid-level digital professional in Pune to grow expertise in global web strategy, localization at scale, and data-driven optimization in a B2B SaaS environment.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the strategy, and ongoing performance of country and language variants of Avalara.com
  • Help launch and maintain new international site variants by coordinating with partners to determine which content is inherited globally and what requires regional adaptation.
  • Maintain localization and translation governance processes to ensure content is prioritized, translated, published, updated, and retired across markets. Collaborate with manager of XTM translation management platform to guide quality content and publishing speed.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, and Content teams to identify content eligible for reuse or localization across international sites.
  • Partner with Engineering on CMS best practices and scaling translation workflows.
  • Support campaign and program journeys by connecting global marketing programs to localized on-site experiences.
  • Monitor site performance using analytics and reporting tools; surface insights related to engagement, conversion, publishing speed, and content completeness.
  • Help with experimentation and optimization efforts by helping identify opportunities and supporting implementation.
  • Assess incoming partner requests, helping prioritize work based on established site strategy and capacity.
  • Communicate progress and insights to partners and managers.
  • Conduct periodic audits to maintain accuracy and relevance of content. Monitor status of content inherited from global parent vs. content breaking inheritance
  • You will report to Director, Digital Experience Strategy

  • We publish international content on time and align it with global standards.
  • Localization time to market speed improves.
  • Localized pages remain accurate, compliant with local regulations, relevant, and up to date across priority regions.
  • Reuse of global content increases without sacrificing regional effectiveness.
  • Partners experience clear processes, predictable delivery, and transparency.
  • Site engagement and conversion metrics on international variants improve

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • 8 years of experience in digital strategy, website management, content operations, or global marketing operations.
  • Working knowledge of web content strategy, SEO fundamentals, UX principles, and performance measurement. Understanding of hreflang, canonicals, sitemaps and how they interrelate for multilanguage experiences.
  • Experience managing localization, translation, or regional site workflows at scale working within Adobe Experience Manager Sites Multisite Manager
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and analytics tools (Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • Comfortable working with global teams across time zones.
  • A data-informed mindset and interest in using performance insights to improve digital experiences.
