We’re seeking a Senior Consultant with at least 5 years of tax technology implementation experience to deliver enterprise client deployments. You’ll be part of a team working directly with clients to gather and analyze requirements, design, configure, and implement Avalara’s tax solutions—integrated with ERP platforms such as Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud ERP. The ideal candidate has strong consulting experience, thrives in client-facing environments, and brings at least 5 years of relevant project experience in global tax compliance deployments.

• Lead client engagements to implement Avalara solutions (AvaTax, Returns, ECM)
• Configure tax solutions and integrate with ERP platforms to automate indirect tax calculations and reporting.
• Support global tax compliance projects, including VAT, GST, and e-invoicing.
• Advise clients on best practices and long-term compliance success.
• Provide onboarding, training, and post-go-live support.

• 5+ years of experience in tax technology implementations or ERP consulting.
• Expertise within the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay flows in Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with third-party tax engines (Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara) and ERP integrations (XML, APIs, SaaS platforms a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and client-facing communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (CPA, PMP, or advanced degree a plus).
