Job Description

What You'll Do

The NetSuite Systems Analyst/Project Tester will play a critical role in supporting the X team by utilizing X's NetSuite ERP system. The NetSuite Systems Analyst will gather business requirements and work with the NetSuite development team to implement new functionality and system enhancements. You will help transform X's financial systems over the next 2+ years by implementing scalable business processes to support the company's organic growth and growth via acquisitions.


What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Collaborate with Finance team to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • You'll support new NetSuite implementations for the X region.
  • Formulate project plans to address business system requirements.
  • Provide hands-on support for the deployment and validation of NetSuite customizations to Production.
  • You'll Troubleshoot and debug NetSuite Production issues, while adhering to SOX compliance principles.
  • Unit test and facilitate User Acceptance Testing for our system customizations and enhancements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system customizations and enhancements.
  • Design custom saved searches and financial reports.

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • 5+ years of experience with ERP systems and 2+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite OneWorld.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite financial modules, including order-to-cash (invoicing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition), procure-to-pay (purchasing, receiving, accounts payable, and record-to-report (general ledger, fixed assets).
  • Proven ability to customize NetSuite, including the building of saved searches and reports.
  • Experience supporting Finance teams and troubleshooting related system issues.
  • Track record of gathering business requirements and delivering functional system solutions from those requirements.
  • Experience with SaaS, subscription, or other recurring revenue business models in a high-volume environment is a plus.
  • Understanding of NetSuite integration tools and process flows; exposure to ETL Tool is a plus.
  • Understanding of systems integrating with NetSuite; exposure to CRM Tool is a plus.
  • Certified NetSuite Administrator/ERP Consultant is a plus.
  • Experience in unit testing, preparing test scenarios, and understanding of testing methodologies.

Minimum Education

Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
