Join a go-to-market team focused on scaling Avalara's fintech and lending business. You'll create a pipeline, manage deal flow, and grow both new and existing accounts. You will blend sales execution with account management and have direct visibility into product and leadership. You will report to the Head of Growth.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- You will source and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, and partner referrals.
- You will manage the pipeline and deal flow from initial contact through close, supporting both new and existing accounts.
- You will Ccllaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and improve conversion.
- You will use Salesforce, HubSpot, and other sales tools to track activity and report progress.
What You'll Need to be Successful
- 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in fintech, lending, or financial services
- Experience managing complex deal cycles and multiple partners across new and existing accounts
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tools including Salesforce, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect with experience delivering value propositions to decision-makers
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Deep understanding of lending products, workflows, and industry trends relevant to financial technology platforms
