Avalara are building a team of specialist e-invoicing sales experts. As a Senior E-Invoicing Sales Executive you will help build Avalara in the evolving world of tax compliance. You will use your SaaS sales experience and advanced e-invoicing knowledge to identify, cultivate, and close business opportunities globally with potential clients while building and maintaining partner relationships.

The position is offered on a fully remote basis. You will report into the Senior Director, Global E-invoicing Sales based in the UK.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
E-Invoicing Market Expertise: Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to e-invoicing and transaction taxes, providing subject matter expertise to both prospects and colleagues.
New Business Development: Identify and target potential customers within the e-invoicing market, understanding their pain points, and presenting Avalara's solutions as the optimal choice for tax compliance.
Sales Strategy: Develop a sales strategy tailored to the e-invoicing sector, using Avalara's unique strengths and differentiators.
Solution Selling: Understand the complex needs of clients and tailor Avalara's software solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain long-lasting customer relationships, being a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
Quota Achievement: Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving revenue growth for Avalara.
Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Account Managers to win business globally.
What You'll Need to be Successful
7+ years of successful software sales experience, with experience meeting sales quotas.
You will have a background in e-invoicing software sales, including selling e-invoicing mandated deals.
You will have a background in SaaS sales.
Experience selling to enterprise-level clients
You will have knowledge of the e-invoicing market including the already introduced and upcoming mandates.
Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
Experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a focus on new or existing business.

Pay Range Details
The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Colorado $109,450-$175,150 annually
Washington $109,450-$193,600 annually
California $109,450-$212,100 annually
NYC $121,000-$212,100 annually
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual salary/wage may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
This role is eligible for the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role.
