What You'll Do

We are looking for a Senior Property Tax Compliance Specialist to join our growing team. You will handle the most complex compliance tasks, resolving escalations, driving process improvements, managing customer relationships, and mentoring team members. You have experience in multi-jurisdictional property tax compliance and advanced technical skills to support automation and data-driven decision-making. This will report to the Director, Property Tax Managed Services.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • You will prepare, and finalize signature-ready personal property tax returns across multiple states and jurisdictions.

  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) for personal property tax compliance, providing insights and recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Meet with customers during implementation process and status calls

  • Analyze, transform, load, and reconcile customer data

  • You will lead process automation and data efficiency initiatives, working with technology teams to optimize compliance workflows.

  • Develop and implement best practices for return preparation, reconciliation, assessment review and tax bill reporting.


What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Minimum of 6 years work experience preparing and filing multi-jurisdictional personal property tax returns
  • Experience with personal property tax compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions

  • Experience with asset classification, depreciation schedules, and taxability determinations.

  • Experience resolving escalations related to tax filings, compliance challenges, and jurisdictional disputes

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, technology, or a related field

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, data modeling)

Pay Range Details

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado $97,400-$155,800 (annually)

Washington $97,400-$172,000 (annually)

California $97,400-$188,600 (annually)

NYC $107,600-$188,600 (annually)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. Your actual salary/wage may be based on several factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role.
