We are looking for someone to join our Partner Management team, focusing on nurturing and building relationships with our existing and expanding network of Private Equity and Venture Capital (PEVC) partners.
As the Inside Strategic Partnership Manager, you will work with our PEVC practice lead and will help support and develop this main partner channel with U.S.-based firms. You will build opportunity pipeline and promote revenue by encouraging engagement strategies and highlighting Avalara's suite of compliance solutions as a lever to create value and efficiency across the partner firms' portfolios. You will support important internal projects, pull and analyze key performance data, and serve as a contact to a set of existing PEVC firms.
This role is based in our Pune, India office, but supports the Avalara U.S.-based Partner Management organization and U.S.-based partner portfolio. You will align with U.S.-time zone/workweek hours. You will be reporting to Sr Manager, Partner Management
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
Account Planning & Strategy Support:
- Help develop our private equity & venture capital partner portfolio and strategy, working with the Sr. Strategic Partner Manager who leads our PE/VC practice at Avalara
- Coordinate quarterly, and annual business reviews to measure performance across a set of U.S.-based partners
Performance Analysis:
- Help collect and analyze performance data across partners to identify insights, and recommended opportunities for improvement
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and partners to review program progress
Partner Relationship Management:
- Help nurture an existing group of U.S.-based private equity and venture capital partners to guide more referrals, revenue, satisfaction, and growth
- Maintain check-ins with external partners and team members to agree on pipeline co-sell, up-sell, and escalations
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
What You'll Need to be Successful
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS partner management, account management, consulting, or a related role. .
- To interpret data to find insights. High proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint..
