What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- You will Lead the design & development of major features of the product.
- You will Increase the current implementation for high scalability and availability
- You will Promote clean coding practices
- You will Perform code reviews in a zero-defect culture.
- You will Design and implement CI/CD for automated delivery
- You will Analyze and provide solutions for production issues.
- You will Learn new technologies. Help the team implement them.
- You will Participate in scrum/agile processes.
- You will Participate in department level engineering programs
- You will be reporting to Senior Manager - Engineering
- This is a remote role and you can work from the comfort of your home.
What You'll Need to be Successful
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development with a understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
- Proficiency in modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter with an understanding of MVC architecture.
- Proficiency in working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices to reduce vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (preferably AWS),Docker, Kubernetes
- DB design and debugging skills (PostGre Sql, MySql, SQL Server)
- A Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with a Master's, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working within an agile team is important
- Debugging skills
- Experience with object-oriented development and common design patterns
