The 1099 Product Sales Leader will be a team-oriented individual, interested in expanding their influence and affecting the broader sales organization to lead product adoption and bookings. You will report to the Senior Director US Strategic Products & Consulting and can work remote.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Develop plans and presentations to achieve strategic product budget targets, including how to increase the product knowledge and knowledge of sales teams.
- Create regular bookings forecasts and report out on bookings performance to leadership.
- Work across our business segments to help improve revenue for your designated 1099 w9 products(s).
- You will be the go-to for opportunity creation channels, ensuring training and enablement to guide pipeline creations.
- Be the subject matter expert for the 1099 and w9 markets; to include building deep levels of product knowledge, customer domain knowledge and industry knowledge.
- Provide guidance on way to produce additional opportunities through targeted outreach and pipeline hygiene using sequences.
- You will improve top of funnel channels by helping understand prospects/customers' business environment and provide valuable relevant recommendations to lead product attachment and end-to-end solutions.
- Represent the 'Voice of the Customer', surfacing important product and business insights to help inspire creativity for our teams.
- Provide training on talk tracks, stories and objection handling for designated product(s).
- Articulate and present the value delivered by Avalara products and services to multiple levels within a customer organization.
What You'll Need to be Successful
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent career experience.
- Experience in the 1099 and w9 tax market and the associated tax compliance challenges.
- 5+ year's experience as a B2B Sales Professional (SaaS preferred).
- Record of achieving performance goals including quotas, revenue targets, accurate forecasting, or other goals.
- Skillset to identify trends and gaps in production reports to guide action plans.
- Experience teaching/mentoring others to achieve shared success.
Pay Range Details
The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may different in other locations.
Colorado $119,200.00 - $196,700.00 annually
Washington $119,200.00 - $196,700.00 annually
California $131,700.00 - $217,400.00 annually
NYC $131,700.00 - $217,400.00 annually
The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. Your actual salary/wage may be based on several factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, and market and business consideration This role is eligible for the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or use, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role.
