You will develop cutting-edge tax return software tailored for small to medium-sized businesses utilizing a Node.js/React stack. Your role involves engaging in full-stack development tasks, ranging from front-end user interfaces to back-end services, and exploring new technologies to optimize development processes and enhance productivity.

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under a Node.js/React stack.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to refine software specifications.
• Review, test, and debug team members’ code.
• Lead by example through contributions to open source projects and showcase continuous learning and improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficient with JavaScript, React, and Node.js; experience with Ruby or Python is a plus.
• Strong experience in open source environments and familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.
• Skills in Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes on AWS are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• A demonstrated passion for coding, evidenced by previous work on Github or contributions to open source projects.
