The Role:
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in project management, ideally with architectural or engineering specialization, to lead our commercial buildout projects. In this dynamic role, you will represent both the client and the vendor throughout the life cycle for the project, ensuring a smooth process to completion..
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard tenants onto our marketplace, providing a seamless and informative experience.
- Oversee the RFP process, from creation to vendor selection, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
- Analyze bids and select vendors that offer the best value and quality for our clients.
- Guide clients through the entire project lifecycle, from concept, preconstruction, and design to construction and closeout.
- Collaborate with internal tech teams to enhance and leverage our platform for project management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants and vendors, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Track project progress and report status back to the client on a regular basis, helping them understand each milestone
- Manage the invoicing process for Aikito, as well as review and oversee pay requisitions between the client and vendors.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of construction project management experience
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and marketplace dynamics.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and earn the respect of tenants and vendors.
- Proficiency in using technology to streamline traditional construction processes.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
