Brief of the Role
We are looking for an individual to lead AgVend’s marketing organization and the strategy that positions the company to win enterprise accounts, drive meaningful partner expansion, and support the evolution of our Nexus platform. This role is responsible for setting and executing the marketing strategy across product marketing, targeted demand generation, and brand, with a clear focus on outcome-based storytelling and measurable business impact. You will report directly to the CCO and operate as a strategic partner in shaping AgVend’s go-to-market direction.You will lead a high-impact marketing team spanning corporate marketing and Partner Marketing, with responsibility for both AgVend’s market narrative and the programs that enable our partners to successfully market to their customers using our platform.
AgVend is the leading digital engagement platform for the North American Agricultural Industry. We partner with the nation’s most innovative ag retailers, distributors, and manufacturers in an effort to help them build, launch, and grow their digital strategy.
While we feel strongly about periodically being in person together, we operate a distributed-first team model. We are looking for the best regardless of where you live. This role is open to anyone in the US or Canada.
Your Background
You have at least 3-5 years of experience building and leading high-performing marketing teams, including hiring and developing top tier talent. Agriculture industry experience is a plus but is not required. If you come with a high degree of empathy, curiosity, and humility then you will thrive in this role.Qualities We Seek

Own the AgVend brand

Understand the current state of “who we are” and “what we deliver”, then advance the brand and vision to build trust with enterprise and Nexus buyers, clearly communicate business outcomes, and support sales, expansion, and partner conversations.

Own and evolve AgVend’s product and platform narrative

In close partnership with Product and Partner Success teams, you and your team will be responsible for articulating the workflows, business outcomes, and ROI enabled by AgVend’s platform. This includes establishing a disciplined approach to capturing, packaging, and publishing customer proof, ROI narratives, and outcome-based stories that can be consistently used by Sales and Partner teams.

Target and drive highly qualified opportunities across priority enterprise and Nexus accounts

Design and execute a focused demand generation motion that supports enterprise sales cycles, prioritizes depth of engagement over volume, and works in close partnership with Sales and Partnership Success teams to influence pipeline and deal progression.

Drive measurable business impact through marketing

You will be accountable for marketing’s contribution to enterprise deal readiness, partner expansion efforts, and the successful positioning of new platform initiatives like Nexus. Success will be measured by the quality of pipeline influence, adoption of marketing narratives by Sales and Partner teams, and progress against company growth objectives.
