Your Role at impact.com
Are you passionate about people and driven by process? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can be the go-to resource for employee support?
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Employee Services Specialist to be the heartbeat of our HR operations. In this crucial role, you won’t just be processing paperwork—you will be the frontline champion of our employee experience. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our team members, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and valued from their very first day.
If you are a proactive problem-solver who loves optimizing workflows and creating a seamless, positive workplace culture, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Be the Ultimate Employee Advocate: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing rapid, empathetic, and accurate support on everything from benefits and payroll to company policies.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Flawlessly execute daily HR transactions, including onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and data updates, ensuring a frictionless experience for our team.
- Master the Data: Own and manage critical employee data within our HRIS, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.
- Champion Compliance: Ensure all HR practices and documentation strictly adhere to company policies and relevant labor laws, keeping us secure and compliant.
- Innovate and Optimize: Don't just follow the process—improve it! Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader HR team to identify bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and implement best practices that elevate our Employee Services function.
What You Bring:
- A Solid Foundation: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Have an additional HR certification like SHRM or HRCI? Even better—we love to see it!)
- Proven HR Experience: You bring 2+ years of hands-on experience in HR operations, shared services, or an HR generalist role. You know the ins and outs of the employee lifecycle and are comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment.
- Policy & Compliance Expertise: You have a strong, practical understanding of HR policies, standard operating procedures, and employment law. You know how to navigate the rules confidently to guide employees and keep the company compliant.
- A Versatile Operational Toolkit: You aren't afraid of the operational heavy lifting. You have real-world experience tackling benefits administration, unraveling tricky payroll queries, and managing complex compliance requirements without breaking a sweat.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: You are a natural connector. With stellar written and verbal communication abilities, you know how to translate complex "HR jargon" into clear, empathetic, and easily digestible guidance for employees and leadership alike.
- Unwavering Attention to Detail: You have an eagle eye for accuracy. You understand that when it comes to processing HR transactions, managing payroll queries, and maintaining data integrity, the little details matter immensely.
- Tech Fluency: You are comfortable navigating modern HR tech stacks. You bring prior experience working within an HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to manage data, alongside a strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
