We’re a team of ex-Google engineers who built some of the largest defensive platforms on the planet — Safe Browsing (protecting 5B+ devices) and reCAPTCHA (protecting millions of websites).
Now we’re taking on a bigger challenge: stopping the new wave of AI-powered email attacks hitting organizations today.
Email security is a $5B+ market ripe for disruption. Legacy rule-based and ML systems can’t keep up with adversaries using AI to craft customized, high-evasion attacks. AegisAI is building an LLM-native email security platform designed for this new threat landscape.
The Role
We’re looking for a high-output, curious, and relentless BDR to help put AegisAI on the map.
Your mission is simple and hard: create qualified pipeline. You’ll be the first human touch for many prospects and a critical signal to the market that AegisAI is a serious new player in email security.
You’ll work closely with AEs, founders, and marketing to connect outbound, inbound, PLG signals, and partner leads into real sales conversations.
This is not a “follow the script” role. We want AI-native BDRs who can think, test, adapt, and win.
What You’ll Do
- Generate net-new pipeline through outbound (email, phone, LinkedIn, creative channels)
- Qualify inbound and product-led signals into sales-ready meetings
- Research target accounts and tailor outreach to security and IT leaders
- Clearly articulate why AI-native email security is fundamentally different from legacy tools
- Partner tightly with AEs to convert meetings into real opportunities
- Continuously test messaging, sequences, and targeting — and share what works
- Maintain clean CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting

What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of BDR / SDR experience in B2B SaaS
- Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed meeting and pipeline targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort selling to technical buyers (security, IT, engineering)
- Self-starter who doesn’t wait for perfect instructions
- Coachable, curious, and competitive
Bonus Points
- Experience in security, email security, or infrastructure SaaS
- Familiarity with PLG signals or usage-based selling
- Experience at an early-stage startup
- Comfort experimenting with AI tools for prospecting and personalization
